Sometimes you feel breathless,
Drowning in a materialistic society,
People around you are changing,
Everybody is running towards Dunya,
You feel so alone,
A stranger in this worldly life.

You feel lost.
Trying so hard to fit in but you can’t.

You are normal, my brother and sister.

You know why?
Because this world as beautiful as it seems is not a muslim-friendly environment,
You’ll never belong here!

Dunya, is full of delusions and temptations.
Dunya, is where Death can end your unaccomplished dreams.
Dunya, is your exam paper.

Whenever you feel like drowning in Dunya,
Remember this Ayah
“So flee to Allah”
Run to Allah,
Ask him for guidance,
We’re lost without His mercy.

You are not alone in this.
And also remember,
Jannah ain’t cheap.

May Allah bless you all with infinite happiness in both worlds (Dunya-Akhirah)

Before the “March on Washington” for freedom rights and before Martin Luther King’s speech,
There was the conquest of Makkah,
There was Muhammad peace be upon him,
When he asked Bilal bin Rabah (African muslim) -may Allah be pleased with him- to give the first call for prayer on the top of Ka’abah.
To shatter all the idols of injustice and slavery with “Allahu Akbar” declaring freedom and equality for all.
Blessed are we to follow Muhammad -peace be upon him-, blessed are we to be muslims.

The best reminder i’ve read in a while. Beautiful mashaAllah:

“Let not the people come to know except of your happiness, and let them not see except your smile. If life becomes constricted upon you, then within the Qur’an lies your orchard. If you feel curtailed and restricted, then to the heavens raise your call. And if they ask you of your affairs, then praise Allah and smile.

If you see an ant on the path, then do not crush it, and seek the Face of Allah thereby, so that He will have mercy on you like you had mercy on it, and remember that it glorifies Allah, so do not halt this glorification by killing it.

And if you pass by a bird drinking from the blessing of water, then do not pass close to it in case you startle it, and seek the Face of Allah thereby, so that He grants you safety from fear on the Day when hearts shall reach the throat.

And if you come across a cat in the middle of the road, then avoid hitting it, and seek the Face of Allah thereby, so that He protects you from an evil death.

And if you want to throw out food, then make it your intention that animals can eat from it, and seek the Face of Allah thereby, so that He provides you from whence you do not expect.

Do good, no matter how small it seems to you, because you do not know which good deed will enter you into Paradise.

And if you wish to spread this statement, then intend good, so that Allah may relieve you of a trial from the trials of this world and the Hereafter.”

"If this dunya has the worth of even a mosquito’s wing, Allah would not let the disbeliever have a sip of drink."
- Prophet Muhammad -peace be upon him-

O Allah! Send blessings and peace upon Muhammad and the Family of Muhammad.

O Allah we declare that we love Ahlulbayt, O Allah we love Ali, Fatimah, Al-Hassan and Al Hussain -may Allah sends his blessings upon them all-, O Allah gather us with them and with the Sahabah -the companions of the prophet- may Allah be please with them all.

Shaddad ibn Aws narrated that the Prophet [صلى الله عليه وسلم] said; “the most superior request for forgiveness is to say:
Allaahmma anta rabbee laa elaaha illaa ant.
Khalaqtanee wa ana ‘abduka wa ana ‘alaa ‘ahdika wa wa’dika mastata’t.
A’oothu bika min sharri ma sana’t.
Faghfir lee.
Fa innahoo laa yaghfirul-thunooba illaa ant.

The Prophet [صلى الله عليه وسلم] then added, ‘anyone who says this during the day, firmly believing in it, and dies before the evening; or says it in the evening, firmly believing in it, and dies before the following morning, will be among the people of paradise.’ ” [Sahih al-Bukhari, vol 8, pp212-3, no 318]
